Belize

Belize is a tiny, delightful, surprise which is home to the Meso-American barrier reef. This is second only to the Great Barrier reef off Queensland and makes Belize a diver’s dream.

Apart from the underwater life, Belize has beautiful eco-resorts which give you access to wildlife and marine reserves such as Swallow Caye Wildlife Sanctuary where you can take a manatee tour.

Belize is also a fascinating destination to discover Mayan history.

English is still the National Language of Belize (formerly British Honduras), although Kriol (Belizean Creole) is what you will hear most.
