Often overlooked as a sole destination, or combined with Argentina (although this works well – finish an Argentina holiday with some time on the beach in Uruguay). However, this small but diverse country has its own wines, fabulous hotels, excellent riding and nature – plus the historic cities of Montevideo and Colonia.
