Kenya can be seen as the home of the safari, with the fabled Maasai Mara one of the best destinations in the world for game viewing. This great National Park, named in honour of the Maasai tribes people indigenous to the area, is brimming with lion, leopard and cheetah, and sees the Great Migration of zebra, Thomson’s gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti each year.
